Undergraduate Studies in SESE

Our Mission

The School of Earth and Space Exploration is training the next generation of explorers through a broad spectrum of subjects leading to degrees in geological sciences, earth and space science education, and even aeronautical engineering. We aim to not only engage the minds of our students, but we see it as our responsibility to also encourage and excite the general public about science to create citizen scientists.

Becoming a part of the community

If you're passionate about science and engineering and yearning to be on the cutting edge of scientific and technological breakthroughs, then the School of Earth and Space Exploration is for you because the culture here emphasizes collaborations among science and engineering. Prior to starting your student career, or as early as possible, you are strongly encouraged to meet with one of our Academic Advisors to discuss the undergraduate admissions and application process. There are a number of scholarships, unique research opportunities, outreach activities, and other benefits available to declared majors.
