Immerse yourself in robotics

Designed to introduce future scientists and engineers to the innovations of today, the travelling ROBOTS: The Interactive Exhibition offers a variety of adventures to explore the science of robotics. Hosted by the Arizona Science Center from Sept. 27 through February, this interactive exhibit is closely connected to one of the main research areas of the School of Earth and Space Exploration: engineering for scientific exploration. SESE Assistant Professor Srikanth Saripalli, a roboticist who focuses on estimation, guidance, navigation and control for unmanned systems, will be showcasing research from his robotics lab in conjunction with the exhibit for three days, starting on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Outside the exhibition, Saripalli and his students will be showing video footage of their robots and will have static displays of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), in addition to a flight simulator for kids to play with.
